The facility houses the city\u2019s fire and medical emergency communications services and supports workstations, office space, a fire training room, a nursing station, and a \u201cquiet room\u201d for dispatchers. The project also features a large panel video wall, an upgraded server room, emergency generators, and a UPS set. The emergency dispatch center was constructed utilizing a slab-on-grade concrete foundation, a tilt-wall concrete structural frame and pre-engineered metal building exterior, and roofing materials consisting of SBS membrane, foam, metal, and PVC. Construction also included the installation of an eight-foot site wall around the perimeter, millwork additions, and an aluminum storefront.
