The Chandler City Council has awarded a $5.8 million contract to Core Construction, Inc., to rebuild Chandler Fire Station No. 282 near Alma School and Warner roads.<\/p>\n

\u201cStation No. 282 is located in an ideal location and consistently handles our highest call volumes in Chandler,\u201d said Fire Chief Tom Dwiggins. \u201cThese improvements will enable a second engine company to be relocated to the new station, improving our emergency response capabilities in this area of Chandler.\u201d<\/p>\n
